Stabiliser Load Pads

Sandhurst rough terrain scissor lifts are equipped with additional stabilizers or outriggers (see diagram) allowing them to be placed on slightly sloped or rough ground while the platform is made horizontal before elevation to final position.

If stabilizers are deployed, it is recommended to use optional load pads to support stabilizer leg weight for greater safety.

Even if being used with stabilisers or outriggers, rough terrain scissors must not be used when sloping conditions or other factors jeopardize safe working conditions.

Operators must be knowledgeable in the use of stabilizers and outriggers, their intent and purpose, and how they work. Make sure machine is level and all supports are on a flat, sound surface.

Ladder Safety Foot

Ideal when working on solid flat surfaces, use one of our simple non-slip ladder safety foot devices to improve stability. Works by holding the ladder firm due to friction at the point of contact.

Safety is improved due to the weight of the ladder and its user being spread over a larger floor area.

Improves ladder stability on a variety of surfaces including: tiled floors, polished wooden floors, concrete surfaces and grass.
