Despite some pretty tough trading over the last two years in the UK Sandhurst Equipment Rental is one company that has quite a bit to celebrate having recently been awarded ISO 9001 accreditation.

In addition, as the company continues to open new depots Sandhurst has just invested £1 million in more excavator attachments including over 30 hydraulic breakers. Other new attachments include pulverisers for demolition, handling grapples and screening buckets.

Already members of the CPA and NFDC (Construction Plant Association & Associate members of the National Federation Demolition Contractors) achieving the ISO standard means Sandhurst is the only dedicated national UK hydraulic attachment hire company to have achieved the coveted 9001 accreditation.

ISO 9001 became an ambition for the company in its pursuit to achieve highest possible standards and deliver consistently excellent service to its customers from all its depots across the UK.

The award recognises Sandhurst’s continued commitment to accountability and its desire to set new standards as a leader in hydraulic attachment hire.

Sandhurst provides a dedicated hydraulic excavator attachment hire service from its depots situated throughout the UK and is very familiar with the demands made by quarries and demolition companies for powerful workhorse breakers and a dependable support service.

Although operating the UK’s largest fleet of excavator mounted hydraulic attachments, including pulverisers, riddle buckets, rippers, augers and crusher buckets, Sandhurst remains best known in the quarry sector for its considerable stock and selection of heavy duty hydraulic breakers.

The company currently operates over 500 hydraulic breakers and carries huge stocks of head brackets/cradles to ensure compatibility between its breakers and any size and make of excavator 1 – 100 tonnes.

Since starting its long association with Krupp Bautechnic of Germany, the originator of the modern excavator mounted hydraulic breaker, Sandhurst continues to operate a large number of heavy duty Krupp (now Atlas Copco) breakers in its rental fleet.
