 Hydraulic hammer or breaker hire was developed in the late 70’s by a handful of companies, such as Sandhurst Plant, who identified the depth of knowledge required to hire, fit and support hydraulic hammers as being too specialist for the general plant hire sector.
Today we still proudly count many general plant hire companies, who cross hire hammers and attachments from us, amongst our regular customers.

Our in depth knowledge and experience of hydraulic hammers was originally formed whilst selling and hiring Montabert breakers. Even greater knowledge followed during a long spell as the sole UK concessionaire for Krupp hydraulic hammers. Selling and servicing Krupp and then later, as a consequence of takeover, Atlas Copco hammers, has provided an excellent technical training background for Sandhurst engineers and fitters.

Sandhurst stocks many hundreds of cradles to fit all excavators so any of our attachments can be fitted to your machine. We have attachments to fit everything from mini excavators to 180 backhoes and 360 excavators of all sizes.
Our fitters will deliver your chosen attachment to site, fit and check your machine for correct flow and pressure and leave when you are satisfied that you are ready to start work.
